More Adventures

After our doctor's appointment (and clean bill of health) Friday morning, Davy and I went to play with friends. It was really great to be out of the house. Davy managed to reach new heights, literally, while at their house.

He had climbed on the piano bench, so Jenise and I knew he could do that. But then he was playing quietly with the kitchen set so I was in the other room. When I went back a minute or two later, he had climbed completely on the piano. As in, he had climbed on the piano bench, then leaned over and climbed on the key cover. I caught him standing on the key cover as he was reaching for glasses that where partially hidden on the back of the piano.

I ran out to the van to get my knitting and the boys (8 & 10) were keeping an eye on Davy. When I came back in, the youngest runs over and says "Davy's standing on a chair! We're holding him, but he's standing on a chair!" It was so cute. Davy was standing on a kitchen chair and the older boy was holding him so he didn't fall off.

Later Davy climbed on the coffee table. Davy did it so fast that the boys didn't even realize he was up there. And they were both sitting/standing in arm's length of Davy!
