- Joe went out again this evening, so Davy and I went over to my mom's to visit for the afternoon/ evening. We ended up going to Easton, and Davy got a free pair of shoes. Apparently he was supposed to get a coupon when he was born for a free pair of shoes at Stride Rite, but since he didn't get a coupon, they just gave him a pair of shoes. Davy was really good the whole time. He rode in the sling for most of the trip. Interesting side note though.... Baby Gap doesn't have any where to nurse. Not even a chair. When I asked, the woman who worked there was really nice. She mentioned the bathroom, there is one stall for the Baby Gap, Gap Kids, and Gap, which as you can imagine was busy on a Saturday -- plus I didn't want to nurse in the bathroom -- and said that I could use the stools that are there for reaching merchandise. So I sat on a stool by the sale rack in Baby Gap and fed Davy.
Davy wore his new outfit that my second cousin -- on my mom's side -- sent us the other day. It is a size 3/6 month, Sonoma, 3 piece outfit: a onesie, a sweatshirt jacket, and a pair of jeans. It is really cute. But it just fits. The jeans fit perfectly -- they didn't even need rolled up at the bottom -- and the onesie is a little big. He must have had a growth spurt this week. I don't see how a 3/6 month outfit should be that small on a 9 week old baby.
