For the first time today, I tried using one of the wool soakers I knitted before Davy was born. Amazingly enough, one actually fit him. I was a little worried that I over lanolized it since it was pretty tacky, but it worked perfectly. The prefold underneath was wet, but the wool felt dry and the sleeper was dry as well. I'm still amazed that a sleeper fit over the wool soaker. I'm going to start a pattern for wool longies (i.e. pants) so I won't need to put him in another outfit.
