Tuesday

We went to the park today with Jenise and Maryam. I was late (surprise, surprise) because I forgot to pack lunches in advance (or even unpack yesterdays). I did manage to get our lunches packed, but we were over 1/2 hour late. We went to Fancyburg, which is my favorite park.

But it was very crowded today. A daycare showed up, and there were a lot of other mom's who thought today was a great day to go to the park. I hate when the park is crowded. It means Davy requires constant monitoring, that you have to "force" the toddlers to take turns, and other mom's are there waiting to jump in and discipline your kid if you aren't right there. Grrrr. It's hard on Davy too. I normally let him do his thing, but you can't when there are 4-5 other toddlers (mostly Davy's age or younger) waiting to climb up the stairs too, and some of them are also moving at their own pace (very slow).



Davy has become slightly obsessed with looking at pictures on the computer. He loves to sit on my lap (or Joe's lap.... he isn't picky) and look at family pictures and pictures of himself playing in the water at Easton last Saturday. Those pictures are called "watie" (water). Apparently Owen made a big impression last week. because when he sees pictures of his cousin, he says "Owen" repeatedly and gets excited. So I downloaded some of their Disney pictures (after we watched them several times) so he can look at more pictures of his cousins.
