Happy Birthday to Me

It's been rather uneventful today. So far we spent most of the day watching the latest season of House out on DVD and we started watching Evan Almighty. And Davy and Joe both took naps, although Davy's was considerably longer. He slept for almost two hours.

Joe, Davy, and I went out for my birthday after Davy's nap. We went to O'Charley's, mostly because I had a coupon, it's nearby, and I thought Davy would have an easier time sitting still there. The food was good (I got the Pretzel Crunch Chicken), but our waitress was very, very slow. She'd disappear for long periods of time, and this was even before she took our order! Davy did really well considering how long we sat there. I told Joe not to tell her it was my birthday; at the rate she was moving, Davy would need to leave before dessert finally arrived. Unfortunately, lunch made Joe sick, so he's been napping and now is trying to rest upstairs. So it's just Davy and I.

So far I got a memory card for my birthday, extra camera battery, and green tea candies. The latter tastes just how you'd imagine. Joe was trying to be thoughtful though.

Our electricity went out around 7 - just when we were towards the end of Evan Almighty - and was out until almost 11. So everyone went to bed early. No choice. And dinner was leftover O'Charley's rolls with peanut butter. Very glamorous.


I love secrets! I'm terrible at keeping them, but I like them just the same.
