Williamsburg Trip -- Day 1

Mostly driving today. Davy and I were up early since we didn't want to delay the trip by being late and needed to make sure that Zoe was let out before we left town. We were at Mom's and ready to go by 9 AM, but Mom wasn't ready yet. We ended up leaving Pickerington around 10:15.

Davy did a great job, but towards the end he was getting fussy and was fed up with being in the car seat. It didn't help that we ran into a traffic jam about an hour from Charlottesville. We never figured out what caused it. I drove until Davy got fussy, and then I rode in the back seat with Mikey and Davy.

Davy was really worked up by the time we were ready for bed, and kept smiling at whoever was in the opposite bed and acted like he wanted them. He kept going back and forth from me to Mom and Mikey.
