Pulling Up to a Stand

Davy is pulling himself up now. He looked like he was trying yesterday at his grandma's, but he was a little tired. After napping on the drive home, he apparently was rested and crawled over to the couch (where I was sitting), and pulled himself up on my legs. Then today he was pulling himself up on the couch and loveseat. As a result, baby proofing the house is now in another stage, and we're trying to move furniture around (like the piano and at least one of the marble topped tables) and put things up higher. It's a slow process for us since Davy needs watched and some things need two people to move safely.

Davy really liked playing with the swiffer. He was banging it on the floor a lot and examining the connection between the pole and the base.

Davy took his nap with Daddy today. Joe put him to sleep pretty quickly and just sat with him. Joe hasn't been able to do that much, so he really enjoyed just cuddling with Davy.

I've been trying to capture Davy pulling himself up to a stand with the video camera, but of course, I usually distract him while getting the camera out and so far I haven't been able to get any pictures. Just a bunch of video with Davy on his knees holding on the side of the couch. Oh, so close. I'm still hoping to get a good shot of him pulling himself up soon.
