Davy visits with Grandma Sheridan...

Davy visited with Grandma Sheridan today while Mommy and Daddy helped Grandpa and Aunt Katie sand and stain the deck. He had a great time with Grandma. Grandma even got Davy to sleep in the late afternoon/ early evening, something that I have problems with on occasion. It was really impressive.

Davy had his first food today (other than breast milk). He had been begging for it for over a month, so we finally decided it was time. I had been hoping to wait longer, but he'd been making me feel like I was torturing him by not feeding him when we were eating. Even other people were commenting on it at meal times. Lately we've eaten with a bunch of different family and friends, and anyone who saw him at meal times commented on him wanting food and assummed he had already started on solids.


His first food was some smashed up banana. He seemed to like it. He ended up eating about a 1/4 of the banana. Davy wasn't sure about the texture, but he kept eating it. He did a great job considering he had never had anything like that in his mouth before!
