A Busy Day -- May 17, 2007

Davy and I were really busy today. First we had breakfast at Bob Evans with Ann, Marion & Alisha Speer, Dale, Barb & Emily Heppner, and Judy Nelson.

After breakfast, Ann, Davy, and I went to Lane Bryant and Old Navy. We had coupons for both, so we got good deals. I bought a bunch of new clothes. I was way overdue for new tops and pants. None of my dress tops fit from before Davy, and I never did have casual dress pants.

After clothes shopping, we went back to Ann's, then drove together to Lancaster Meijer's to do our grocery shopping. Finally, after several years of listening to Joe extoll the superiority of pudding pops and asking me to buy him some, I found a store that sells them. I think he's been telling me about those pudding pops since we were married. He wanted them so bad that he looked them up online to find were they were sold locally -- and of course they weren't sold where I do my regular shopping.

After grocery shopping, Davy and I started to go home, but we could only get as far as Lithopolis and Hayes Roads (just beyond Lithopolis and Gender) before Davy's crying was unbearable and it was clear he needed to eat. So we turned around and went back to Ann's so I could feed Davy. Of course he fell asleep as soon as we got there. He was smiling when we left, so it was classic Davy.... he gets hungry suddenly, and when he does, he needs fed immediately. At least we were near somewhere to stop and Davy got to see his grandpa.

By the time I left Ann's, it was after 6, so I figured I might as well run over to my mom's and give her Davy's 3 month pictures. Mikey wanted to hold Davy, so we had to get a ton of pictures of Davy with his uncle Mikey.

Davy and I didn't get home until after 8.
