Since we aren't moving now, I didn't have to spend all day gardening, packing and cleaning. We decided to go to the zoo with some friends from the boards instead. It was a lovely day. Davy enjoyed petting the animals and the (brief) period he was allowed to walk. Otherwise he rode on my back. He's so funny though. He points and makes observations when he's on my back.
Some day, I will realize that I have red hair. I remembered to put some sun screen on Davy, but I didn't put any on myself. Now my face -- especially my forehead -- is burned, my arms are red, and I even have a little bit of burn on my neck -- I know what you're thinking...don't say it.Davy thinks everything is attainable through climbing. For instance, he thinks he can get on a chair when it is pushed under the table and somehow stand on the chair. His ultimate goal of course is to get to the top of the table. This might work with some tables, but the game table has a piece of wood that hangs down on the edge lower on the underneath than the main part of the table. So Davy climbs on the chair and gets stuck against the edge of the table. But if you pull him off, he goes right back and does it again.
He also can pull himself on top of his kitchen without using anything as a step stool. He just grabs the back and pulls himself up. The kitchen isn't meant to be pulled and stood on though. I've caught him twice before he pulled the kitchen down on himself. He's stood on it before I could catch him as well. The thing is that he loves that kitchen. He plays with it constantly. His favorite thing is to put stuff in the oven and in the cabinet. So I don't know what to do. He loves it so much.
