An unexpected visit from Santa

After we got back from the doctor's office this afternoon, someone rang our doorbell. Twice. Then as I was investigating (I'm paranoid), the visitor knocked on the door twice. It turns out Santa was paying Davy an early visit. Davy was fascinated. This was only the second time he has seen Santa in person. Santa also brought a gift: a green fleece blanket hugged by a polar bear in a cute santa hat.

The visiting Santa was our neighbor across the street. He's older, and he's very outgoing and kind. He especially loves Davy, and enjoys "talking" to Davy whenever we are outside. Even if Davy isn't with me, our neighbor asks about him.
