Adventures

Davy is back to his adventurous self. We had a brief period of relative quiet. Now he's back to craziness. On Wednesday, he broke a window. We're not sure how. It is broken all the way through though, and there are radiating impact lines in the glass. Saturday, he started climbing up the kitchen cabinets. He uses the lip of the cabinet as a toe-hold and then pulls himself up by the counter top. Today, he shook the baby gate (which is screwed into the studs in three places on each side) by the front door so hard that it is starting to pull away from the wall.

On the plus side, I just scored a bunch of free 3T & 4T things. Woohoo!

Davy found a toy catalog that arrived in the mail, and he's carrying around all week. I didn't even know it existed, but he found it in the pile of mail, pulled it out, and insists on looking through it with us. He likes looking at the different toys.

He's still OBSESSED with football. Davy gets really excited every time it is on. He loves the ball, and he says "whoa" every time someone is tackled.

Whales and dolphins are "fish." Sometimes "turtles." Mostly "fish" though.

Davy talks about his cousins all the time. We have to pull up pictures so he can look at Carly, Molly, & Owen, and then he talks about them. Most of what he says is unintelligible, but their names are pretty clear. Carly and Owen are the clearest. Molly still sounds a little like "mommy" because his "l"s aren't enunciated very well.
