Davy's other two aunts -- since he's lucky enough to have four -- came into town today. Davy could have cared less though. His favorite people today (besides mommy and daddy, of course) were Uncle Mikey and Trinity. Since Uncle Mikey is 8 and Trinity is a baby, you can see the attraction. Davy spent most of his time trying to give Trinity a bear hug and chasing Mikey (or being chased by Mikey) around stores. My highlight was waiting for someone else to try on clothes for almost an hour in Gap. All while carrying Davy and trying to get him to nap. I hate The Gap. Sounds like a plumber with a pants-related malfunction.
My mom still claims that Davy hasn't liked her since we went to Seattle last month. No comment. Maybe it was the "Nobama" shirt she decided to wear today? Anyone know where I can get a cool Obama tee?
On the way home today I witnessed a car accident on 270 north before 70 (right after 33 exits). It was terrible. A small car veered left and hit the back end of a semi truck. It was on the other side of 270 from me, so there wasn't anything I could do. But I saw the whole thing. I don't know if the driver could have survived. I tried to find it in the news, but I didn't see anything.
My family is generally crazy and has no planning ability at all. I found out yesterday that I have to be in a family photo on Sunday with my sisters. Grrrrrrrrrr. I hate getting my picture taken. Especially with no warning, no clothes picked out, and a toddler in tow. Mom said she'd watch him, but in the past that has ranged from strapping him in a stroller while she does other things to turning away and letting him do whatever.
Oh, and Trinity looks EXACTLY like her father. It's so weird. I can't look at her without thinking of Logan.
I'm at my wit's end.

This entry could be expanded into a very funny short story! (It's already pretty funny.) (Except for the accident.)
