Davy's Rebellion

So where did sweet Davy go? Fussy Davy has arrived. And he sleeps a lot. And he only goes to sleep in a carrier or in the rocking chair. The newest thing is that he refuses to go in his walker. It seems to frustrate him. He's got crawling down, and he doesn't like being constrained in any way. And he refuses to eat baby food. The pureed kind. He reaches up and grabs food from our plates and sticks it in his mouth at the first opportunity. Davy grabbed an adult-sized bite of chicken off my plate, held it in his fist, and sucked on it Tuesday night.

Sweet Davy is still here, of course. He just isn't so sweet with me. He's just fine when we go out. He was "ahhh"-ing at other babies at the grocery today. They'd talk a row or two over, and then he'd answer. He was perfect at the grocery until the very end, and even then he did really well. Of course, he was in the Babyhawk the whole time. Davy was still better than other babies, but then again, he was being held the whole time. Other mamas had to take their babies out of the cart or car seat and try to shop holding a baby. Gotta love carriers!
