Friendly, Sleepy Baby

Davy is so friendly that he waves and says "hi" in his sleep.

Davy has a couple obsessions.... he loves reading My Truck is Stuck. It is a pretty decent book. There's sound effects, rhyme, counting, dogs, birds, and even a telephone. All essential items to a toddler. Plus he loves saying "stuck." Other current favorites are That's Not My Truck and Green Eggs and Ham.

He decided last weekend that I'm not good enough to get him out of his car seat. When I start to get him out, he screams, "NO, NO, NO, NO, NO!" And then Joe has to get him out. I've lost my charm. Daddy has quickly become Davy's favorite person. (Other than Bah-Pa of course.) Davy asks about Joe first thing in the morning, and periodically through the day.

Davy insisted on walking around the block in my tennis shoes..... which were on the wrong feet. He held my hand the entire time (highly unusual); probably because the shoes were so very large.

Davy really likes watching football on television. We only watch one game a week (any guesses... anyone?), but he thoroughly enjoys it. Last week was especially fun because we were rooting for both sides.

At Anderson's yesterday, Davy rode around in the cart. No problems, he was happy riding. Until we checked out and saw the giant inflatable Brutus. Then he had to get down, run over, and push it. And repeat. It's fun pushing Brutus.
